I have the rear hangers as I removed because I prefer the look. As we all know. everyone's opinion of condition is very different. so I would expect you to come and see the bike before bidding as this is a 14 year old bike. In my opinion this is a very clean. tidy bike that is in great condition! I'm happy to talk you over the bike. on the phone. if you are travelling to buy. This has been an exceptional bike and I will be dissapointed to let it go. It has unfortunately been dropped on its side before my ownership.  I would assume bobbins had been fitted as there is a small stress/damage mark behind the current one (see photo). The chap I bought it from. said it was dropped slow speed after a new tyre was fitted!? This has been repaired and it still a very nice bike. I've not been dissapointed in anyway.  Don't let this put you off as the bike is in excellent condition and rides faultlessly!! I understand this will/may put some people off. but I want to be honest and not waste anyones time!! I've lost the history after a few house moves in a short time. I have maintained the bike myself with oil change etc. This is the chance to own an iconic bike. that everyone comments on. at a bargain price!!Reason for sale:I have to do some courses to progress my career that are not cheap and need funding! I have a second bike that gets less use than the R1. so they will now be reluctantly sold. As I said before. please come and see the bike for yourself. I am happy for test rides if you put the cash in my hand and show me your insurance! (you bend it you bought it)Payment: Cash on collection. or contact me otherwise.
