YAMAHA THUNDERACE 1000R 1996

YAMAHA THUNDERACE YZF1000R. Yamaha's stunning flagship Supersports bike of it's day. Finished in a very striking Red and White colour scheme with a special embroidered seat. Comes in very good condition for it's year and showing a very low genuine mileage of just 12. 00 miles (Many old MOT's to prove). I have had this bike for 4 years and it has been  regularly serviced and looked after by Tony Moss Motorcycles in Wem whenever needed. Double bubble screen (1 fixing screw missing). Race can (original also available if required). recent new tyres. battery optimiser. nbsp; ex-up valve removed and re-tuned (they regularly stick and it now runs a lot better!). The bike has been well looked after and maintained since I have had it but it does have a few minor dings in the tank and scratched etc as expected of a bike this age due to parking / moving around in the garage etc. Kept in a garage overnight and heated during the winter! Starts and sounds just as it should and riding the machine is a great experience. Plenty of low down power with rapid acceleration and achieving high speeds extremely rapidly. Handles with ease and in true sports fashion. Overall. a great machine to own. Recently SORN. MOT'd until 21/02/2015 (only done 200 miles since last MOT!) Only selling as age is catching up with me and unfortunately my joints are not what they were!!. I have been as honest as I can and viewing is always welcomed.
