Here is my beloved Yamaha YZF R125 for sale
It is a 2010 model and has done 9252 miles.
It is in almost immaculate condition. it just has a minor scuff on the fairing and a couple of small scratches which are all barely noticeable (See below)
I bought this bike from Skellerns dealership in Cheltenham in April 2012 and have ridden it on the road for the past two years.
I am selling it because I passed my motorcycle test on it and I now ride a Suzuki SV650S.
Everything on this bike has been left as the manufacture made it and is completely stock. I have not modified this bike in any way (nor has one the previous owner).
The V5 is present (I am the registered keeper) as well as a full service history. All of the services have been at the dealership that it was bought from.
It had its MOT on 11/11/2013 (at Mantra Motorcycles) and it passed with one advisory which were that the rear brake pads were ?ˆ?close to minimum limit?ˆ?. They will need changing soon but are okay at the moment.
I have the spare key. owner?ˆ™s manual. original tool kit (under seat) and MOT certificate.
Tax is currently SORN
A few hundred miles ago I changed the rear brake pads so they have plenty of life left. I only changed the rear brake pads because like a muppet I meant to change the front brake pads (post MOT) but instead changed the rear pads and never got around to doing the front ones. Also I had the rear tyre changed at the dealership (at 5481 miles) due to a puncture. Both tyres have plenty of tread left (4mm tread depth left at the centre of both tyres). On the top of the forks there were two small patches of corrosion where the paint had flaked off. I have lightly sanded and painted the patches with primer to protect them. (See picture 5)
There is a small scuff on the ride hand side of bike from previous owner but the dealership touched up the bike because it was very minor damage. the only mark left is on the fairing near the front light. This is barely noticeable I always forget its there as its almost unnoticeable. See picture 4
Also with the bike is a cover I use to protect it as well as a Muc-off chain lube canister that I used on the drive chain.
I have always locked the bike in a locked building and usually under the cover. It has only been left overnight outside a few times when im not at home but again usually undercover.
I have spent a great deal of time looking after this bike. mechanically and cosmetically. I regularly clean it thoroughly and polish it as well as looking after the basic mechanics side of things. such as; keeping the chain lubed. keeping the oil topped up. tyre pressures correct. brake fluid topped up etc.
The bike is great even for smaller people like me (5?ˆ™ 7?ˆ?). This is a great bike and has been a joy to ride and runs like a dream. Tax is only £17 a year. I have had 97 mpg out of the bike which means it costs just 7p a mile. Being a four stroke it doesn?ˆ™t use much oil at all so all round it is cheap to run.
I have loved riding this bike every minute. It is fun to ride. it looks fantastic and is ideal for people just getting into biking. This bike has low miles for its age and as you can tell the bike has never been in an accident nor has it been dropped. The bike is in a great condition and has low mileage. Its a great bike to ride and it is a real head turner. lots of people have complemented on how good it looks.
You are more than welcome to come and view the bike
