Yamaha WR450F 2005 05 Plate, Road Registered Enduro/Green Lane machine

For sale is my 2005 WR450. Selling due to old age :-)) To be honest I'm not the best rider and do tend to put it on the ground quite a lot and I found that the bike is too heavy for me really and because of that I've hardly used it in the 3 years or so I've owned it and it's sat in the garage with the battery on an optimiser. I start it regularly and give it a run every now and then. I have just bought an ali framed WR250 which is lighter and not so powerful so the 450 has to go. The bike is road registered but has no tax or MOT. It is on a SORN as it was not used on the road because it was transported every where by van. These bikes are known to be bomb proof and this one is no exception. It is maintained very well by myself  with an air filter clean and oil after every ride and an oil and filter change after every 3 rides. When I bought the bike the speedo wasn't working so I fitted a TrailTech Vapour and I've only done 108 miles on it. which was a couple of enduro races and then an hour or two every now and then on a mates farm. just messing about. I have just fitted a brand new water pump shaft with new oil and water seals. it also has lifting straps. Pro Taper handlebars with right hand start stop switches and left hand light/indicators/horn switches. blue silicon water hoses. air bleed valves on front the forks and a YZF rear fender with strengthening bars. There is also a replacement rear end with indicators. brake/number plate lights and a full size number plate for an MOT. The brake pads are good. the tyres have plenty of life left in them (but the rear is not road legal so would need to be changed for an MOT) I changed the chain & sprockets when I bought it so they have hardly been used. and the valve clearances were checked when I bought it. This is a 9 year old off road bike and it has been used as such so is not in pristine condition but I would say that it is in good very condition for it's age and use. It starts easily when cold or warm (electric and kick) and runs really well. Thanks for looking. if you have any questions please don't hesitate.
