YAMAHA FJR1300 2003

2003 Yamaha FJR1300I bought this bike earlier this year as a stop gap after some kind motorist "didn't see me" and wrecked my BMW 1150GS. At some point this Yamaha has had a minor spill and has been re-painted with aerosols and a tank cover fitted. its not the best paint job but not too bad.  During my ownership there was a problem with the speedo and it was changed at 37252 Miles for one reading 22968 Miles. Now for the good news. its HPI clear. had a recent front tyre. everything works including the screen and it rides really well.  Last week we did a 300 Mile trip two up. with ease.  Complete with the RED key and some old MOT's to verify the mileage.  Just sailed through its MOT.  I've really enjoyed owning this FJR and am now considering buying a newer one to replace the BMW. Not the best looking FJR you'll find for sale but a great runner. starts every time and an ideal winter bike.
