2004 Yamaha TW125 Trailway Adventure

This 2004 Yamaha TW125 was bought by myself a couple of years ago as a training bike for my youngest. He has since toddled off to university so the bike is redundant. It has spent the last few months in my dry shed. not much use to me (I have other bikes) so it might as well go. Pictures look good. but then they usually do. It is not in perfect showroom condition; some of the pictures were taken to reflect that. There are a couple of paint chips on the tank (see photo) which have been touched up but no dents. Some of the engine bolts are rusty (I would have replaced them myself; I normally change them for stainless steel items - I'll let you do that if you wish. ). again. see photos. The swing arm has some surface rust but it didnt trouble the MOT tester who passed the bike with no advisories. I've probably made it sound worse than it is. Comes with V5 in my name and two keys. As far as maintenance is concerned. I have replaced the drive chain. both sprockets and changed the engine oil and filter. Bike idles quietly once warmed up and then all 12 horses are at your disposal. they've only covered 7500 miles. The top case dates from the 1990s and was fitted to carry a helmet (or a couple of bottles of wine. half a case of Stella etc). It is of functional use rather than pretty but it does the job. The fly screen came with the bike. Please drink responsibly. Its a chunky looking thing isnt it? When I was looking for a training bike I could have bought a YBR or a CG 125. but I wanted one of these. Now that I no longer have a requirement for it you can have it instead. For the advertised price. of course. If you buy. you will need to leave a £50 deposit via Paypal. balance to be paid in cash/bank transfer on collection. Bike can be delivered for 40p/mile round trip from Bolton. post code BL5. You bid to buy. please. Come and get it. P. S. I have seen a couple of these on eBay in dealerships. Both 2004 models. one is £1695 and the other is £1895. Both have covered twice the distance of this one.
