This very rare and much sought after 1975 Yamaha RD350B has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 8389 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is very nearly complete missing just the R/h mirror. battery & Airbox. The bike has obviously stood a while so the tyres are perrished. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as nice as it looks here. The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims. good hubs. brake plate. disc. caliper & working master cylinder. Forks & yokes look straight. Mudguards are both solid & tidy with minor dents & imperfections. Tail light assy is good as are the headlight & hangers. Instruments & switches look great. Fuel tank. side panel & oil tank are solid. fuel tank is coated inside and all have just minor marks & scratches in the original paint . Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhausts are original & solid. Seat is in very good condition throughout. Chain guard is tidy. The engine is cosmetically very clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter ?ˆ“ sounds/feels great & has compression ?ˆ“ When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it fresh fuel/oil it starts & runs but the carbs do need cleaning. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

We HAVE NOT got the Certificate of title but we will provide proof that the VAT & Duty is paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture in writing. Phone Yamaha UK customer services on 01932 358000 with the Model. frame & engine Numbers for a small fee they will send you a letter confirming the age.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you a tax disc with your age related registration number.
