1978 Yamaha YZ100 vintage racer motocross AHRMA ACR YZ 100 125 MX YZ100E N/R

This is an amazing 1978 Yamaha YZ 100. It runs GREAT and is an eye catcher everywhere you ride!!It has excellent compression. shifts perfectly. clutch works perfectly. Chain and sprockets are original and show almost NO WEAR!! It had been sitting in a dry storage trailer for YEARS when I got it. It received a very light make over and some upgrades to make it one hot little YZ. NEW!!1) Front fender from Speed and Sport Yamaha2) Rear Maier Fender3) Uni filters 4) Renthal bars5) carburetor rebuild6) New Seat cover. 7) Fork seals and boots8) Shorty brake and clutch power levers9) side panels are original OEM and have been painted and new oval applied10) the front number plate is a new aftermarket unit. ( the original front plate and front fender WILL be included )11) Oury GripsThere are only two small things that It needs. There is a small amount of exhaust leakage around the exhaust flange. It does not hurt anything but probably needs a new seal/gasket to be perfect The rear wheel is missing one spoke. It was slightly loose and I broke it when I attempted to tighten it. All other spokes are tight and the rim is in good shape. It is NOT NOS or a museum piece. It IS an older bike in great shape that will provide you with countless hours of fun OR would be the worlds easiest museum quality restoration project. With the spoke replaced I would not hesitate to ride this bike all day!!
