1979 Yamaha YZ80 Vintage Motocross MX Bike Original Time Capsule

1979 Yamaha YZ80 Vintage Motocross an original time capsule. I purchased this bike from the original owner his parents bought it brand new for him in 1979. He rode it for 2 years and then parked it in his parents finished off basement and it sat there until a few weeks ago when it was taken out.  Everything on the bike is original it still had the original spark plug in it. nothing has been touched up. I put in fresh gas and a new spark plug and it started on the second kick. Bike was never raced. don't think it was ever in the mud. you can still see the original ink marks on the tire. the exhaust system looks like NOS but is original. there is no kickstand but it doesn't look like it had one from the factory. The bike has been sitting for 33 years it needs some work to be ridden. clean carb. clutch is making a noise probably needs a new one. front fork oil needs to be changed. left side engine cover has a crack on it. I don't think you will find another original bike like this most were raced and destroyed these were one of the fastest motocross bikes in the late 70.
