1972 YAMAHA DS7 250cc RD Vintage Cafe Racer Two Stroke Smoker NO RESERVE

                                                                     HIGH BIDDER TAKES IT HOME  Up for auction is my 1972 Yamaha DS7 250cc KICK START and PRE-MIX ONLY.   This bike has been rebuilt from the ground up with lots of new parts.   The motor was rebuilt with all new O. E. M. Yamaha seals and bearings.   The crank was split to install the new Labyrinth seal on it as well. Rd 250 reed valve heads were installed with new over-sized pistons.   A Vintage Smoke electronic ignition has replaced the old points.   The factory oil injection has been removed and a block-off kit installed along with a new neutral switch. All electrical work as they should (horn. turn signals. brake lights. etc).   The headlight is a new H4 style.   The wheels have been disassembled. polished and relaced.   Painted black spokes. new brakes. bearings. seals. tubes and tires were added. The forks have been rebuilt with new seal and oil.   It is running a 530 chain and sprocket setup. The carbs have been cleaned and jetted with a Toomey Racing Y boot and K&N filter with pre-cleaner.   It has HVC Cycle exhaust with Dime City Cycle Fully adjustable rear sets. The paint is in good shape all around but there is a spot by the gas cap as seen in the picture. It has reproduction badges on the tank. but they are brand new and look great.   I have put around 300 miles on this bike since it was completed with the exhaust and new regulator/rectifier being added in the past 6 months.   I have added a shut off valve (see pic) to the stock oil tank so you can just mix your gas on the go with a measuring device.   I do have the factory jugs and heads that will go with the sale along with any other parts I have for it ( foot pegs. oil injection. factory exhaust. chain gaurd. etc).   I have a lot of jets also depending on where you live if you need to re-jet you will be covered.
