To see some video of this bike go to- http://youtu. be/p_s_UTcKhfANO TITLE - BILL OF SALE ONLY - NOT STREET LEGALThis is my 1975 RD350 road race / speed trials bike. I built this to run at the Maxton Mile speed trials in North Carolina but the track was closed down about the time I was ready. It has been run a total of about an hour since completion for ballpark tuning and set up. Everything fresh and ready. Drained and stored in climate controlled area. Some of the goodies used: Expansion chambers - Pro Flo (IN CHROME !)Electronic racing ignition - Pro Flo (RACE ONLY - NO CHARGING SYSTEM)Full race porting by John Ritter ( Vintage Porting. com. If you ever get a chance to talk with him be prepared to take notes)3 sets heads with different combustion chamber volumesrebuilt. trued and welded crankWiseco . 5mm oversize pistonsWestach exhaust gas and cylinder head temperature gauge Since It was to be a straight line measured mile-er I used some new old stock Red Wing shocks and Continental TKV11 and TKV12 V rated tires. The Champion flat track tank holds 1 gal and gives much better access to the carbs and top end. Also included is a stock tank in primer (needs petcock). I used fork tubes and dampers from a XS650 Yamaha (2 inches longer) to get the clip-ons where I needed them above the clamps. The carbs are new 30mm Mikunis. The left instrument made by Westach measures exhaust gas temperature (EGT) and cylinder head temperature (CHT) via thermocouples mounted in the head pipes and under the spark plugs. It is a great aid in carburetor and ignition tuning and helps avoid seizures. I built the custom instrument mount. nbsp; rear set footpegs and fabricated all the mounts. brackets. number plates. tank mounts etc. The sidestand is a removable square tube like a Bultaco. Most everything used in the building of this bike was new or refurbished to like new condition. I have some spares that go with it. Sprockets. gaskets. levers. grips. engine covers and several stock cylinders. This is a race bike and has no provision for lighting systems or charging a battery. High performance two strokes require diligent tuning. maintenance and inspection. The inattentive will be rewarded with seized pistons. twisted cranks. broken cases and crashes. Consider this before you bid. If I was to road race this I would replace the rear shocks and upgrade the front brake. The brake is good enough for a stocker but this thing is scary fast and it very quickly becomes apparent that it needs more. Sold AS IS - NO WARRANTYSorry - no test rides. Watch the video.
