The wheels are straight with nice clean alloy rims. good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight. Mudguards are after market items but are very tidy. Fuel tank is dented but squeaky clean inside. Carburetor is free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is solid. Seat is in very good condition throughout. Shox are damping fine. The engine is from a 78 SR500E and is cosmetically very clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter ?ˆ“ sounds/feels great & has compression ?ˆ“ When we fed it fresh fuel & gave it a boot it starts & runs. REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture in writing. Phone Yamaha UK customer services on 01932 358000 with the Model. frame & engine Numbers for a small fee they will send you a letter confirming the age.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you a tax disc with your age related registration number.
