2000 YAMAHA YZF-R 1000

This is a good example of the last of the carburated R1s' which are now becoming quite sought after.

I am selling it on behalf of a friend who has moved to a property without a garage & left the bike in my care. so please bear with me if you need to know specific details. It is  available for viewing at any time with some warning.  Below are a few details that should be of assistance.

Registered new in the UK September 2000V5 present in owners name. Service book. Past MOT's & SORN declarations. MOT to July 2015. 21. 00 miles. Only done 2. 00 miles since 2006. Datatool alarm / immobiliser (not working). Leo Vince SBK oval alloy race can. Stainless steel braided front & rear brake hoses. Iridium screen. Paddock stand bobbins. Crash bobbins. Small indicators. Good Bridgestone Battlax tyres. Colour coded undertray & hugger.

This low mileage bike is. in my opinion. in great mechanical condition & very clean as can be seen in the photos. It's in first class condition all over with some small blemishes from wear & tear as to be expected. but nothing at all major.  The front mudguard has had a poor repaint at some time & the paint is flaking in parts.  

The owner has hardly ridden it at all due to moving around the country & storing it remotely. I serviced it last year & MOT'd it for him and all he has done is ridden it home then back to me since.
