This great beast of a bike that is the 1983 Yamaha TT600 Enduro has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is complete and is every bit as solid as it looks here. The wheels are straight with clean alloy rims. good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight. Mudguards are both solid. Fuel tank & side panels are faded but tank is squeaky clean inside. Carburetor is free sliding off the twist grip. Exhaust system is original & solid. Shocker is damping fine. The engine is cosmetically clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter ?ˆ“ sounds/feels great & has both compression and great spark but try as we might we haven't been able to start it. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

We HAVE NOT got the Certificate of title but we will provide proof that the VAT & Duty is paid on the NOVA system.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture in writing. Phone Yamaha UK customer services on 01932 358000 with the Model. frame & engine Numbers for a small fee they will send you a letter confirming the age.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration & the current amount for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you a tax disc with your age related registration number.
