1970 Yamaha R5 350

1970 Yamaha R5 350. Runs Great ! Looks Great !. New Tires . Battery . very nice professional repaint. and the seat was completely redone with a Top Quality seat cover. new foam and seat pan was glass beaded and professionally repainted . The Real original mileage on this Bike is around 8500 Miles the speedo cable broke and I couldn't get the end out of the speedometer head . so the one on the bike was just the cleanest one I could find at the time I will include the original Speedometer in the sale if the Buyer wants it . but this bike also has had new NOS Pistons and Rings the engine was professionally redone by a older Yamaha Mechanic that worked on these bikes when they were new. nbsp; it had low compression in one cylinder when I bought it and we found one piston was bad when it was torn down. Cylinder Jugs and heads were stock and very nice so  I choose to hunt down a pair of New Old Stock Yamaha  Standard Bore Pistons and Rings for Mechanic so the engine is Freshly redone and the bike runs like new.   Everything works on the on the bike . and its in Great Overall Condition. Most of the Chrome is very nice with no pitting there are some stains on the mufflers but they are not beat up or rusty . there is some pitting on the front fender but the chrome shines nice and it is not dented or scuffed up.
