Yamaha XS 750 Triple Custom Bobber

Rare 1978 Yamaha 750 Triple custom bobber for sale. The bike is complete and was fully working prior to taking it off the road about 15 Months ago.  This bike is currently not in running condition. It is Sorn'd and will need to be collected with a trailer or suitable van etc etc.  This bike will need to be fully recommissioned including a new battery. This bike will make a great winter project for the right person with adequate mechanical ability to recommission it and put it back on the road. Paintwork and general condition is ok. although some slight mars and scuffs and the odd rust spot as you would expect on a bike of this age. All reg / VIN / engine numbers match the log book. which is present in my name and registered at my address. Please keep in mind this bike is 36 years old. and has done with the clocks showing 24. 00 miles. so I am unable to provide any guarantees or assurances as to its mechanical or cosmetic soundness.  The bike does have some known issues which will need to be addressed as part of recommissioning and are detailed as follows;  Front brakes will need to be sorted. brake pistons binding a little.  Requires a new batteryIntermittent starter motor issue (Although Kick start works fine)Worn ignition barrel barrel. (key can be removed when running)Home spray job. although very well done and fully sealed.  Has no indicators although wiring loom still in place to retro fit if required.  When it was running the engine pulled well with no smoke or oil burning issues. Clutch also seemed good.  As mentioned this is a used 36 year old bike that's been customised and bobbed. it has some issue that need resolved but offers a sound basis for a great looking ongoing custom project.
