Yamaha Tmax 500 XP500 SOLD !!!

Yamaha XP500 (Tmax 500)MOT March 21st 20151 Former Owner. then me. Huge service file and book. 3 Keys ! Including the Red key. Newer Tmax. twin front disks. newer dash display. Plus Fuel Injection. Much better than the older bikes. HPI clear. £995I am the second owner of this Tmax. I purchased the scooter from Chiswick Honda (main dealer) in London in July 2012. I use it to commute to London from Stevenage. The previous owner purchased the scooter from new from Metropolis Bikes. in London. The bike has been used in London all its life and the previous owner had the bike serviced and MOT'd from Metropolis also. With receipts and stamped service book to prove. Since I have owned the bike I have had it looked after by a Yamaha main dealer close to me. with bills to prove works. I have very recently (less than 500 miles). changed the Oil and filter. plus new spark plugs. I change the Oil every 2-3 thousand miles. I have recently replaced (less than 1000 miles) the regulator/rectifier and generator/stator. so no charging issues. plus and new battery.  In the interest of honesty the bike is due a belt change now. I will not being carrying this out.  Not an expensive job. As you can see in the pics. the front guard has lots of tape on it. rather ugly. Some urchin cracked it whilst parked in a bike bay . The tape is to prevent further cracking. You can repair the guard or just get one from a breakers. Or even from the main dealer. Or just leave it.  The bike has been used it London all its life so does have a few little scars. but nothing overly scary. I would say its an honest bike. that will serve you well as a cheap winter hack. with good weather protection and heated grips. No corrosion.  It performs very well. easy on the motorway. good in town. Handles very well. much better than every other scooter. due to having a proper bike frame which cradles the engine. rather than it all hanging off the rear swinging arm.
