Yamaha RD250c  1976 R-Reg Classic 250cc Two Stroke Twin.

The ?ˆ?C?ˆ? model was the first with the ?ˆ?coffin tank?ˆ? shaped petrol tank. spoked wheels. single front disc brake. drum rear brake and I believe was only made for one year.

In amazing time-warp condition.

All original paintwork to petrol tank. oil tank and side panel in Brigade Blue. Petrol tank has a few small marks but it would be a real shame to repaint it as it`s in such excellent original condition. Oil Tank and side panel are near enough perfect.

Starts first time just about every time. everything works correctly. one key fits all the original locks.

All chromework in excellent condition.

Seat just recovered with correct seat cover as it deserved it. Base was repainted at the same time and is totally solid.

Just passed M. O. T with no advisories and comes taxed for 12 months. Bike is all ready to ride away.

Run on Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic Oil.

New TT100 tyres front and rear.

New correct Yuasa battery.

Owned by me for six years. V5 in my name.

This bike is not one of the usual over restored examples. so if you are looking for a ?ˆ?better than new?ˆ? restored one. then this one isn`t for you. If you`re looking for genuine. well cared for one. it is.

It always draws admiring looks and compliments from those who remember these sorts of bikes from their younger days. Most say it`s the nicest one they`ve seen in a long time.
