2004 YAMAHA TDM 900 BLUE

I bought this bike at the end of July this year as a little present to myself after a split but soon realised I would need the money to furnish a house instead so I am forced to sell purely for the money. I have been to France on it fully loaded up and high speed cruising was a cinch. we did about 200 miles in one sitting and was more than tolerable. Very comfortable and also works well on tortuous country roads. Handles better than the GSX600F I had before this. Very stable and powerful. It is quite a tall bike though so probably not very good for someone less than 5'7'' tall without lowering the suspension. I am 6' tall and just about sit with flat feet on the floor when still.   It has what I might consider high mileage for a bike but I have seen these with 100000 miles on. The engine is a parallel twin and low revving so just seems to be designed to do high mileage and keep going. I bought it from a dealer so it has all the paperwork that ever related to it including loads of receipts for work done and servicing. This shows an extensive service history and it has been very well looked after. Has a Scottoiler which works well and some crash bars fitted to protect the engine but these look nice and are subtle compared to many. I bought some hand guards too but have not fitted them though this is a very easy job. The bars have heated grips which work perfectly. Would make a brilliant commuting bike as it's also good on fuel.
