2011 YAMAHA XT 125 R BLACK

YAMAHA XT 125 2011 - 8000 milesI purchased the bike in July 2012. when I purchased the bike it had 1300 miles on the clock. I bought it from a local motorcycle garage for £1995. I have covered 7000 miles on the bike in the 2 years I have had it. most of the mileage has been to and from college which is a 35 mile round trip. General Maintenance has been done on the bike by myself I. e oil changes. chain lubrication. Any work that has been carried out on the bike has been done by a legitimate mechanic.  Whilst I was at college somebody attempted to steal my bike along with several others at the time. they had smashed the speedometer and broke the ignition barrel. I took the bike to the local Yamaha dealership and paid to get it fixed although I was quoted £250 to fix the speedometer. So in the end I just left it as it was. the neutral light and indicator lights still work although the digital screen is dead. there is no speed or rev counter. This is reflected in the price. If I paid to get that fixed I would be looking for around £1750. There are plenty of aftermarket options out there such as trail tech.  I have now passed my bike test and have got a bigger bike so genuine reason for sale. it must go as need the room in the garage.
