YAMAHA VIRAGO SE 750 1981 US STYLE

This is my 1981 750 Virago. it is a US version. which is more like a cruiser/chopper style. I intended to get it to the bike shop for MOT again this year. but front brake is binding and would not pass. It has passed each year whilst I have owned it.  Mileage  is just over 21. 000. A new battery was also fitted last year.

The starter make a noise when meshing with the engine and does not engage fully sometimes . However it does turn the engine over within a few goes and has been the same since I got the bike. It starts well and runs nice. Changed the exhaust a year or so ago. had to fit some spacer washers to enable clearance with the swinging arm. but again no problem when MOTd. It only gets a few miles run a year and should get more. I attended the vintage rally at Weymouth Pavilion car park this year.  There are a couple of dents into the tank. This is shown via the photo's

With the front brake repaired it should again go through an MOT and be used.

A head turner with plenty of life left in the engine and all electrical sections work. Good for a bike of this age.

If interested I would recommend a look before bidding. It is a very attractive bike and I will be very sorry to let it go. but it deserves a tidy up and fixing to run and enjoy.

Will require trailer or van to pick up due to front brake situation . BUYER WILL HAVE TO COLLECT
