Yamaha YZF600R Thundercat 2001

A fine example of Yamaha's cat. Five months MOT. seven months tax. clean HPI check. I've taken care of this bike for two years and now circumstance forces the sale. A sad situation because it has been a great bike.  The literature paints a good picture of what it's like to ride. The position and suspension are very comfortable. but something unmentioned is how sturdy the chassis is. Good to know when the engine gets above 9000rpm. This also suffers a judder below 3000rpm when the engine is running on the idle jets. Not an uncommon problem. Otherwise. the engine hasn't missed a beat!It has been garaged. maintained and run regularly. Scratches. cracks and splits are kept to a handful around the usual controls and screwheads (note crack to nose left hand side of headlight) and the front Michelin is down to the final few mil. I bought this bike with the exhaust. crash bungs. tinted screen and levers already attached. The sound is great and bungs are never bad but the levers and screen are otherwise unnoticeable. Not seen in the photos is a seat cowl. I've ridden a little over 3. 00 miles and can easily land 210-220 miles from a £25 tank full.  Please contact me if you'd like anymore information or photos I'd be happy to supply it. Thank you.
