Yamaha TY 250r Pinky model.
Restored this year. its only done 2 trials and a practice session since the engine was rebuilt.
69mm piston fitted as supplied by Nigel Birkett to take CC to 254 rather than standard 246.
Includes new gaskets for cylinder base. clutch clover. cylinder head and exhaust. exhaust gaskets are now in short supply.
Also fitted new main bearings. genuine Yamaha cranks seals and new gear change shaft. engine rebuild alone was £250
New tyres were fitted as part of the rebuild £120
New rear brake shoes. wheel bearings and front disc pads £30
New Tank cover with combined seat cover at a cost of £130
Genuine Yamaha rear mudguard was £60
I'll include the old Pink rear mudguard and seat base. they are damaged but useable if you want to keep the new parts in new condition.
Alloy kickstart and gear lever. chrome front pipe.
Footrests have been lowered and accept modern style footrests.
Chrome on the front forks is not damaged and seals don't leak. Silencer does look a bit untidy but has been re packed. its an alloy Shirt silencer which is the best performing tail pipe for these bikes.
