Yamaha XS650 1979

Up for auction is a UK specification Yamaha XS650 registered in 1979 with matching frame and engine numbers. It was in regular use until a couple of years ago. Cosmetically it is a bit scruffy but it's one to ride. restore or customise - take your pick. As can be seen it has Norton Commando exhausts. they are loud and sound fantastic. Rear wheel has stainless steel spokes. both tyres have good tread. All lights work. The engine starts on kick only but sounds great with no rattles and the gearbox works fine. At some time in it's life the frame has been powder coated. Some speckles on the front mudguard but the rest of the chrome is good. Original rear light. these are hard to find now. Would make an ideal winter project. There's no buy it now and I won't swap it for anything else so please don't ask. There's no reserve and the auction will run to the end.
