Yamaha XJ750k Maxim

This classic bike was imported from the USA in 1996. It's a great bike to ride. I bought her to get back into motorcycling prior to an American road-trip this summer.  Now I want a new bike hence the sale.   I spent a lot of money renewing the  fuse box and relays (which are prone to deterioration after 30 years!) and getting the carbs  ultrasonically cleaned. balanced and tuned up. It starts effortlessly with a brand new battery and runs like a dream.

All numbers match (see photos) It is in excellent condition considering the age. a couple of small chips to the tank and slight wear to the rear edge of the seat are shown in the photos. Small rust mark at end of exhaust. Could do with new handlebar grips and the left mirror is a bit wobbly. Full 12 months MOT and 6 months tax. MOT advisory states that there is some cracking in the rear tyre (see photo).

I also have a windscreen available to take away with the bike. for added comfort.
