I?ˆ™m selling my 2009 Yamaha R1 as my wife and I are having a baby very imminently and I won?ˆ™t have much time to ride it considering it hardly gets ridden normally.

The bike is in excellent condition having covered 4505 miles and this can be seen in the many high res pictures I have included. There are only very minor marks as you would expect for a bike of this age and mileage. I don?ˆ™t honestly recall a time the bike has been ridden in the rain or in wintery conditions.

I just had the MOT renewed so this is until 28/09/2015. It had no advisory?ˆ™s.

The bike had its first dealer service done at 615 miles and wasn?ˆ™t due another until 6000 miles. I always change the oil and filter approximately  every  1000 miles and it has been done twice in the two years I?ˆ™ve had the bike. I also change the brake fluid regularly and keep everything lubed as it should be.

There are three keys including the all important Red key. I have the V5 and its registered in my name to my address. No finance owing on the bike and the buyer is welcome to do a HPI check before buying.

I had the wheels power-coated black as I didn?ˆ™t like them in silver. New wheels bearing were installed.  

I am the second owner. The first owner bought the personalised plate ?ˆ?R1 4 CUD. ?ˆ? I looked into selling it and apparently it was worth £400 to have an agent do it for me. I never  bothered with it though. The DVLA paperwork/certificate for the plate is included along with the owner?ˆ™s manual. service book and included paperwork it came with from new.

The front brake pads are Ferodo HH sintered  and have covered approx 800 miles from new. included are the original OEM pads that have loads of life left in them.
