YAMAHA XT 350 1993

This is a black 1993 Yamaha XT 350 road and trail bike.

A few details - one previous owner - I bought in 1997 for £2600. which was a bit pricey at the time. but it had only done 2800 miles. /p>

was in great condition. and had been dyno tuned.   I was looking for a 250 as it was to carry around on the back of a camper. but this was

so smooth and comfortable to ride compared to the alternatives. I just had to have it even though I needed to beef up the camper

suspension to carry it.  

Its now done 7700 miles - none really off road - just a few tracks in Spain and Greece - we basically used it for

transport to town for shopping and a bit of sightseeing when we were camped up abroad in the winter.

It has had services 1998 @ 2828 miles. '00 @ 4696. '01 @ 5748 (plus new chain and sprocket). '03 @ 6500 (new Bridgestones and

brake pads. and valve adjustment). '06 @ 7628 plus sorting some electrical connectors which had corroded a bit while is was

outside for a couple of winters- I have the docs for all these. and all the previous MOT certificates.

It has never needed anything major and has always started and run well. In 2007 we stopped taking the bike away. and moved away from London leaving it 

SORN in our garage while the house was rented out.   The garage is now being converted into a bedroom. so there is sadly no excuse left to keep it.   

During this time. the tank started leaking as got corroded on the inside as I had not laid it up properly. so the tank has been replaced - hence no decals on it. but I do

have a two red XT350 ones which could be applied. though it looks good as is.

It has never needed anything major and starts well.  Condition wise - as you would expect from a bike this old. which has had some (albeit Mediterranean)

months being stored outside. nbsp; there is some alloy and lacquer pitting and bubbling. speckles on the wheel ally. flaking paint and rust spots. but nothing

remotely iffy.   The exhaust and silencer are original and the former rusty but sound.   I think you can still get hold of replacement stainless ones off the internet or ebay.

There is a lockable detachable top box included. which can take two non full face helmets. or one full face.

Having made the decision to sell.  I put a new battery in a month ago and it started and ran fine straight away.

and passed its MOT first time with no advisories. and is taxed to next Sept.
