1974 Yamaha RD 250

This is a classic 1974 RD 250 two-stroke. recently brought back to life after sitting for over 30 years.  When I found this bike. it has the original tires on it. and many parts (valves. carb parts. tubes. lines. etc) were corroded and aged.  I pulled the bike apart and everything has been gone through and operates fine.  I put brand new Bridgestone Battleax tires on it. new throttle cable. new seat and cover. and had technicians go through and replace any problem areas with the engine.  The only issue with the bike is the previous owner topped a corroded part around the tank cover with epoxy.  If I were to keep it. I would sand. Bondo. and repaint the tank.  I didn't do this as I would loose more $ on the bike with all that I put into it already.  I barely rode the bike. as I have bigger bikes to ride. so I got it to run. tightened everything up. and ready to pass on to a good home.
