2003 Yamaha YZF-R1 R1 Black NO RESERVE

****Relisting this item. Winning bidder in last auction informed me he doesn't have the money to pay. Please don't bid unless you intend to buy!!!*** First let me say the title is clean and the bike only has 9. 00 miles. The bike runs and rides awesome. You will have no problem hopping on the bike and going. Just purchased this bike a week ago. After a couple hundred miles I realized the ergos of this bike do not work well for my size (I'm 6'4"). Just looking to get back about what I put into the bike. The bike has about 9. 00 miles and might go up as I am still riding it a bit. For the time I have had with it. it has run and rode really well. Very powerful bike. Only issues needed to be addressed are the rear brakes need new calipers (you could find a used entire rear brake system on ebay for about $30) and blinkers need to be wired. I purchased mirrors with integrated turn signals that look cool. but I don't know how to wire them so that the blinkers work. Similarly. I have a license plate bracket on the back that has blinker bulbs that attach to the sides of it. they would need to be wired also. I would do it but I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to electrical. The headlights and tail lights both work great. One minor inconvenience is you need to wiggle the key a bit for ignition to turn - but once you get used to it it only takes a second or two.   A tune up and TLC and this bike will be good to go. But again. this bike is in good shape as is and if you can live with a couple cosmetic issues. you can hop on it and ride. Feel free to ask any questions or to come by and look at the bike.
