Yamaha FJ1200 - 1992

I have for sale my FJ1200. 199211 months MOTI bought this bike back in the summer as a friend offered it to me. but the bike is too big for me. It was last on the road 9 years ago and at the time was a non runner.  Since then I have fitted:New clutch Slave cylinder ABS pump and motorFront brake master cylinder Rear pads Changed the break fluid. nbsp;Changed the engine oil and filter. nbsp;It went for an mot and passed without any advisories.  The bike rides and drives very well but would benefit from having the carbs balanced and cleaned.   There is also a small oil leak coming from the left hand side but I don't know what it is.  It is the ABS model which has been disconnected due to a wiring fault at this time. although I did replace the ABS pump and motor.  Therefore the breaking system has been reverted to a normal breaking system which works absolutely fine without the ABS.  I did point this out at the MOT but they were perfectly happy with the breaking system as you do not require ABS to pass an MOT. The bike is showing wear and tear which one would expect for its' age.  There is a bad scratch on the left hand fearing which is now being covered by a sticker (see image).   The fearing covers are in relatively good condition but there are hairline cracks dotted about.  An ideal restoration project or just an everyday runner.  If you wish to view the bike please feel free to contact me via eBay or call 07970 899734.  Payment via PayPal or cash on collection.
