Yamaha Vmax full power low miles

2001 Yamaha Vmax 1200 original UK bike and the 'full power' 146 bhp. 'carbon' model which is quite rare. It's done just under 8000 miles from new and has an Mot to June 15. No road tax due to new law. Bad bits  Just cosmetic issues. There are some age related 'alloy oxidisation' marks on the wheels and forks. All Vmax suffer this. Most have been re painted. black. this one is original.  There are some light scuffs on the right hand side on the following. easily replaceable parts. ie; - the throttle grip end cap - the right hand air inlet scoop - and the end of the right hand exhaust silencer. That's it it isn't any worse than that. The paint work is gleaming and unmarked. So. nbsp;mostly it just needs some weekend TLC but nothing major and is absolutely usable as it is. Good bits  It is a 2001 genuine 'full power' model and in the rare carbon livery which is beautiful and unmarked.  It is an all original UK bike. not an import and therefore attracts cheaper insurance.  It starts. runs and rides perfectly. It is tight and precise and feels as an 8000 mile bike should. A new battery was fitted 3 months ago. It has very good tyres.  Mechanically it is spot on. it's been nowhere! The price is 2k less than average because of the above mentioned cosmetic bits and represents superb value and a chance to own a rare version of this iconic ride. The low mileage makes this worth being the one to have. Lots of old mot's and lot's of Sorn's confirming the mileage and the time it has spent off the road.   This bike still looks the part and you can ride it with pride immediately. addressing the cosmetic issues over the winter months ahead.
