1998 YAMAHA XJ 600 N DIVERSION. FULL SERVICE HISTORY..

                                                               1998 Yamaha XJ 600 N Diversion. I bought this off of a guy who had been using it daily for work. but then unfortunately dropped it on the left side at the start of the year. This upset his wife and it sat under a cover until I bought it a couple of weeks ago. It had a smashed indicator. the rev counter was broken. the handlebars were bent. broken mirror. a few scrapes on the exhaust all the things you would expect. However the bodywork is pretty much undamaged apart from the usual wear you would associate with a bike of this age. As you can see I have fixed all of the things that needed doing along with buying a new battery as the one on it was stone dead. The only thing I couldn't do was get a new rev counter as I can't find one for sale. Everything works as it should and it starts and runs well. It would probably benefit from a service as it was sitting for nearly a year and I don't know when it was done before he came off. The mileage is pretty low for its age at 28105. It has full service history from when it was new up until the stamp book runs out of pages in 2010. It has just had a new MOT which it went through fine with no advisories. It is a good honest bike that has got plenty of life left in it. however please do no expect it to be brand new as it is a sixteen year old bike.
