Yamaha FZ 750 1FN JDM Import Resto or track project Early example

*Apologies for the lack of pictures at the auction start slight PC issues at my end* This auction is for an early Japanese import 1FN FZ 750 that is in need of a restoration but was running very healthily until the tax ran out the start of this month and is currently sorn with no mot. having not used it much since the fork seals started leaking and also the rear damper is in need of a rebuild or new unit and also the the front end isnt original with FZR1000 forks/brakes but with a slight pulse from the front end so a disc may have bit of warp. nd it has a dent in the top of the tank with chips here and there. earbox is sweet and mechanically it is very strong sounding with full stainless exhaust that is fairly period for the bike although it is not perfect but i'd say it is 95% complete and is a good basis for a resto project or vintage track day bike although id prefer it to be purchased by someone who wants to restore it to original as these are unusual bikes that are very advanced for their time and in my? ownership? it never let me down once always starting readily and sounding very sweet with the 20 valve exhaust note I will be sad to see it go as circumstances and as this bike got me into 80s yamaha i've just bought an FJ1100 as a project and? unfortunately as I have a machine more suitable for touring now I cant keep the two. any more questions please dont hesitate to message me for further history on the bike will answer asap as I am working full time and cant always get access to ebay. viewing before bidding can be arranged and is recommended. I have no way of delivering so the bike will have to be picked up by means of a trailer/van as it is currently declared off road and not mot'd.
