Yamaha XT 600e,

Up for sale is my Yamaha XT600E. I have the log book and some history. Lovely little bike to ride and ideal for a winter hack or green laner. It has a set of home made crash bars on the front which are very solid and will protect the bike if it goes down and were made from a crash protection beam of a race car. The bike is near as 100% standard and has not been molested in anyway. Everything works as it should. The plastics are a little faded as you could expect on a bike of this age but will polish up okay. The tank has one nasty graze on it as seen in the pictures. It has been treated and all I was going to do was put tank protection stickers over it but it never really bothered me. Been like it for a few years and no signs of rust. The seat has one very small hole as pictured. This can easily be sorted but again. its not got any worst than when it happened a few years back so not bothered by it to be honest.  The tyres hsould be good for about another 2K and the chain and sprockets are good. Top end if you push it is about 85-90mph but it comforable at 70mph. Corners it holds then like a sports bike and handles just as good.  The bike is currently tax'd and is in use every week and is insured so I can take you out on it if need be. There are no signs of any engine oil leaks either and in fact. the engine looks in really good shape with no noisy rattles or smoke. even from cold. It has a manual carb choke.  The auction is here to run its course. I have a buy it now price which once bidding starts. its anyones game.
