Yamaha FJ1100 / FJ 1100 - 1984 "B" reg - Classic Sports Tourer - Low Miles & MOT

This is a 1984 "B" reg Yamaha FJ1100. The first of the iconic FJ sports Touring range.

It has done very little miles for a FJ. the clock is showing 27. 35 miles. It has been in dry storage for the past few years. and the mileage on the MOT history shows this.

It had new tyres fitted before it was put into storage. so these are almost like new. The front calipers were also rebuilt at the time and are working fine. I have just put a brand new battery on it and also rebuilt the rear brake caliper with new seals and pistons as this had seized whilst parked up. Other than that it was good to go.

The engine sounds great. just as you would expect from a bike with low miles. These FJ engines run well over the 100. 00 normally without any problems.

The bodywork and general appearance is good. There is the odd mark and chip here and there. but looks to have had a nice life so far. The rear shock looks quite new as well. the previous owner said this was changed by him.
