YAMAHA XJR1300SP

This is my lovely Yamaha ZXR1300SP. Sadly selling due to having one bike too many - I simply dont have time to ride 3 bikes & no room to keep them. so one has to go. I'll let the pictures do the talking - it really is that clean. . . . . The bike is basically standard apart from a few cosmetic mods. just to personalise it. It has Renthal low rise streetbars fitted along with cnc'd adjustable clutch & brake levers. The bars are slightly lower than standard. The original ugly mirrors have been replaced with a single mirror which really works. The ugly oblong indicators have been replaced by some neater & better looking round. chrome items & there's lots of little detail touches here & there. Please note that the fork brace fitted in the pictures. is no longer on the bike. so is not included in the sale. I did the fork lowers satin black. as the lacquer was peeling off them & they looked awful. There is an immobiliser & alarm fitted & the original unused spare key. Mechanically its excellent. Condition of the consumables is all good. The chain & sprockets were recently replaced. The discs & pads are in good order & the tyres have loads of life left in them. The paintwork is all pretty good with just the odd mark here & there as to be expected with a 12 year old bike. It starts. goes. handles & stops just as it should & there's no noises. smoke or issues with the engine & transmission. . . smooth & torquey. just as it should be. The chap i bought it from had owned it from new & had toured Europe on it every year. Most of the bike's mileage has come from this. but the bike is bulletproof. so just nicely run in. I dont have reams of paperwork for servicing. as the first owner didn't consider it important to keep a record. However. he assures me that the bike was serviced annually at a main Yamaha dealer in N Somerset. . . he bought its replacement there - an FJR1300. . . So there we are. Its a lovely clean & tidy XJR with no rusty nuts & bolts or corroded fasteners. with a good smooth strong engine. thats been well cared for over the years & is probably the best you'll find for sale at the moment.
