This is my Yamaha Classic XJ750
She is 30 years old and does not miss a beat. She ha sailed through her MOT with no advisories and is just a lovely machine.
I have owned her for the summer to get me back in to motorcycling following a 5 year break but have just sized up to an St1100 for a tour to Spain and I am selling my girl to fund the trip. (wife wont let me have both).
She starts first time every time. has carried me and my luggage around the country well.
She could do with some attention to the front fork seal. I think it is starting to mist but still work fine.
Originally this bike was imported from japan in 1997 and then had the milometer changed to mph from kph and since this date has done 30k miles. it is not known how many miles were done on the machine before this.
there is a slight dent on the tank from prior to me owning her but the paint work and chrome is of a high standard. she has a stainless steel and chrome exhaust system that is sound but is showing slight discolouration from road salts but will polish out well.
she has after market panniers. top box and rack that are superb and have served me very well for business trips and camping and other expeditions.
I will be very sad to see her go but she has to :-(
