2004 Yamaha R1

Welcome to a very depressing day in my life and the auction of my R1.

I bought the bike a year ago from a chap who had prepped it ready for his son to race but his son didn't want it in the end so I had the chance to get it (it was never raced!)

I turned it back to road and have had a blast over 12 months but my business needs the cash so regrettably it has to go.

I won't lie and say its mint because its 10 years old and does have some scratches and a little ding in the tank but it never bothered me and I thought id spray it one day to get it mint but had too much fun on it and didn't want it off the road.

I've been all over on it and its never missed a beat.

It's got MOT until may 9th 2015 but the tax runs out at the end of the month (nov) although I can tax it for cost if needed.

It's got Power Pure 2ct front and rear tyres with loads of life left and they are amazing (duel compound)

Short brake and clutch levers

back light with intergrated indicators

flush front indicators

Race rear end

red front and rear brake caps (brake fluid changed last week)

It's done 39000 miles I have service history up to 27000 in service book. owners manual. 2 keys and the red key also.

I also have the old race fairing and some extra bits and bobs tank etc which are not included in the sale but are avaliable for sale seperatly if wanted.

I'm gutted it has to go and there's no doubt I'll be getting another one of these great bikes at some point!

The V5 shows its red but only just remembered I didn't change it. that will be done when it gets sent off with new owner details
