1/11/14 - 'bike is now SORN'd and documents sent off to get current plate onto retention. Will be on original '59 plate at point of sale. Copy of MOT and V5 to hand.  

Sure you know what these are if you are looking. Only for sale as do not get to use due to work commitments (and being a VERY fair weather rider). and need money towards new house purchase. Less than 400 miles in last year. just not getting the use. Hooked up to battery conditioner and started regularly with runs when I get a chance. I am not desperate to sell so no silly offers please. I have done as agreed with the better half and listed it but if it doesn't sell it's not my fault is it.

Bike is immaculate and completely standard other than clear indicator lenses fitted to give cleaner look (Standard. OE. amber lenses included). Last owner was a trading standards officer and fastidious in the 'bikes upkeep. It has full service history and I had it serviced less than 200 miles ago and a new battery fitted (quite a small battery for size of 'bike and I felt it was struggling at times despite being on conditioner). Always starts on first prod of button and has a meaty rumble on tickover. The service included all valve clearances. consumables and standard Yamaha service items etc. Nothing to spend whatsoever on this 'bike for plenty of time yet.

This is the later 2009 'bike with the six-piston front calipers not 'old stock late registered' that many are. Has the dealer fit META alarm/immobilisor system fitted (insurance requirement at time) and comes with three keys (including the all important 'red' security key and tag) and two alarm fobs. all books and service history. etc.

Awesome 'bike. tons of torque to ride along on. I gave up riding nutter sports 'bikes (last one was a 2012 Tuono V4R) but definitely not ready for a custom/Harley and this fitted the bill as a sports frame naked with big lazy engine fitted.

I will be looking to keep 'something' in the garage for my NCB and occasional nip into town or blow the cobebs away summer ride. Especially like Kawasaki KLR650. supermoto's. maybe even a larger cc superscooter if anybody interested to deal within eBay rules.

Test rides are ONLY available with picture ID left with me and a hefty cash deposit. preferably the full agreed asking price but will discuss as appropriate. The 'bike is available for any viewing or independent checks before end of auction. Bike will be SORN'd as of 1/11/14 ready to go away for winter.

Appreciate may be difficult to get to come and view so if bid made and it's not as described by me then you are free to walk away without obligation but I will not stand for 'tyre kickers' to arrive and try and bid price down.

The bike is currently on a personalised registration but the pictured one; V2 1700 (actually V21 TOO) is held by me on retention ready for transfer of ownership (subject to ??25 fee) if interested. The purchaser of the 'bike has first refusal by seperate negotiation or it will be listed seperately. To confirm; The registration plate V21 TOO is NOT included in the sale (bike will revert to it's original 2009/59 age related registration number on removal of current personalised reg' by me whilst auction is ongoing).

Documents to put my plate on retention will be away whilst auction is ongoing but should be back in around ten days usually. I will have scanned copies and/or will hold 'bike until received back if you would prefer
