Yamaha XJ900 pre diversion J reg 1992 56650 miles shaft drive MOT 22/02/2015

This is my Yamaha XJ900 pre division motorcycle J reg (1992) for sale.

The bike has been used almost daily in all weathers since I purchased it on 30/08/2008. The bike is in working order with a current MOT which expires on Feb 22nd 2015. The bike has a tax till 28/02/2015.

The bike starts pretty much first time. it has been sitting still since 21st October (today is 4th November 2014) and it started first time. The bike has a manual choke and an electric start. I have had heated grips fitted which still work but as seen in the picture within the listing the left grip has worn. this still works but might benefit from some sort of tape to ensure it remains working.

The bike had a new single exhaust fitted about three years ago. I think the make is Motard. This appears fine but does have a small rattle when running. The engine. as you expect with a bike this old does rattle a bit. The seat has a tear near to the front and has been taped up. this hold fine and does not really show out. please see photo.

Please remember you are bidding on a bike that is 22 years old. do not expect in perfect condition. it is a well used bike. all be it working fine and with a current MOT.

My reason for sale is due to a new bike arriving and having no need for two bikes.

There is a belly pan included. this was never fitted when I got the bike and has remained in my garage since. this belly pan is included with this bike. but not fitted. please see photo.

Strictly cash only on collection. The bike is NOT insured so if you want to test ride the bike you must ensure that you have suitable insurance to ride it.  I can not permit the bike to go on a public road if you do not have the insurance in place. I will not be removing the bike from sale. I will be letting it run to the end of the listing. Buyer needs to arrange collection and as stated pay with cash when collecting.

The bike is located in Leatherhead about 1/2 mile from Junction 9 of the M25.  Collection needs to be within ten days of the buyer winning the bid.
