1998 YAMAHA YQ 50 AEROX RED

YAMAHA AEROX SCOOTERBOUGHT AS A PROJECT BIKE THAT I WAS GOING TO REBUILD AND UPGRADE TO BE SILLY FAST AS A CHEAP RUN ABOUT TO GET TO AND FROM WORK ( about half a mile each way ! )BIKE IS PARTIALLY DISMANTLED BUT ALL BITS ARE THERE AND IS STILL A ROLLING CHASSISHAS MOT AND V5 ( also tax but new law means no transfer )Bike has recently been running but big carb was not set up properly so a bit rough although 65mph was no problem. Has many decent upgraded parts including;-Stage 6 70cc kit-Stage 6 pro replica exhaust-Force ignition race CDI and HT lead-New iridium spark plug-Carbon fibre reed valves-New 21mm race carb with new manifold and foam air filter-New manual choke-Selection of different size jets to get set up correctly-Polini variator-Race clutch-Kevlar drive beltI was going to change cylinder anyway as found some slight scoring in barrel but a quick refurb and setting up correctly with roller weights and carb jetting will give a real good scooter Had to abandon project due to 2nd baby and work commitmentsBike has scratches and scrapes and bits that need replacing or repairing but nothing major. like I said I was riding on the road a month or so ago with no problems. Bike is in Telford Shropshire and is collection only
