1971 Yamaha Mini Enduro - Quite possibly the greatest little motorcycle that ever lived.

Up for auction is a Gorgeous. 1971 Yamaha JT1 Mini Enduro Motorcycle.   The Yamaha JT1 is the worlds first true Mini Motorcycle. Until the introduction of the 1971 Yamaha JT1 Mini Enduro. most kids had little choice but to ride tiny wheeled. lawn mower powered mini bikes if they wanted to ride at all.   That all changed when the Mini Enduro came on the scene.   The JT1 was an almost exact. scaled down version of it's big brother. the Legendary Yamaha DT1 Enduro.   Now Junior could ride along with dad on his own "Real" motorcycle.   Complete with a 60cc. two stroke engine. four speed synchromesh transmission and full front and rear suspension. the JT1 was a real motorcycle in every sense of the word. Many of these little bikes were sold in the early 1970s and many riders learned all of their skills on these great minis. We found this bike at a home in San Gabriel Ca. at the Home of a police officer that bought a pair of these bikes for his two sons. This is a ONE OWNER bike since day one. and title also from 1971. Bike is in running condition. however we have not started or ridden the bike in the last 12 months. It shows by the stickers that the bike  was only ridden 3 summers. And after that the kids outgrew the bikes and they were put in storage ever since 1975.  100% Unrestored and original. original tires. original everything.
