In 2012 the Yamaha R6 took more podium positions in the World Super Stock 600 than any other manufacturer. It's also what you can expect to find buried in the 599cc's of adrenaline creating power plant propelling this motorcycle of marvelous design.

The Yamaha R6 has always been a staple amongst the 600cc class community. It's unique and charismatic lines. it's smooth yet fire breathing four cylinder. and it's perfectly balanced ratio of track and street created a title for itself. It's the motorcycle that kids put up posters on the wall. It's the motorcycle that when high schoolers talk about a dream bike. it's the first one to come to mind. It's the motorcycle that looks like the bad guy. but would defend you in a fight because you gave him a pencil in Home EC. It's the motorcycle that continues to prove it's worth. always providing both confidence and excitement.

But the envelope doesn't need to be pushed on an R6. It doesn't need to be pushed on any bike for that matter. You can drive your R6 around like a 50cc Honda Ruckus. sipping gas and feeling the wind. This R6 is complete with an FMF Apex slip on exhaust. retaining stock subtly whilst allowing for some high pitched fun. Rebound and damping adjustable front and rear suspension with variable preload settings allow for intense personalization for whatever surface or driving style you prefer. Chassis And Suspension Deltabox aluminum frame incorporates GP thinking in terms of engine positioning and rigidity for the ultimate in 600-class handling. The lightweight swingarm pivots high in the frame. for increased anti-squat effect and mid-corner stability. TZ-type chain adjusters ease rear tire changes. Four-way adjustable (preload. high-speed compression. low-speed compression and rebound damping) inverted fork with 41mm tubes increases freedom in setting up for street or track use; soak up the bumps and resist bottoming when braking. Four-way adjustable (preload. high-speed compression. low-speed compression and rebound damping) piggyback rear shock delivers exceptional rear wheel tracking and stability. Dual 310mm front disc brakes use forged one-piece radial-mount calipers and radial-pump front master cylinder with adjustable lever for astounding braking power and feel. The casting technique for the five-spoke 17-inch wheels makes the rims light and strong. not to mention wickedly cool-looking. Removable rear shock spacer and adjustable fork ride height allows the rider to tailor the ride position for the best fit and comfort.
