A war is constantly being fought by all the Japanese heavyweight cruiser manufacturers: Who can make the best cruiser. In my opinion? Yamaha.

Yamaha's V-Star series might have some weight. but it doesn't feel like it does compared to a Boulevard. It might have a fatter front tire. but it out handles the Vulcan. It's front brakes are modeled off the R1 and it's riding position is from your recliner. The V-Star is insanely comfortable regardless of wherever your driving takes you. It feels absolutely excellent. handling slow speeds with easy and not being a difficult to stand up like a Harley Ultra-Glide when stopped. This bike is fantastic. not because of the faults of it's competitors. but because of how good this one actually is.

The Cobra exhaust can be heard in the video below. And as you can see. it's a really relaxed bike to ride.

The Yamaha V-Star was more than what I was expecting. It was exciting. fun. super plush. peppy. and handles better than basically any cruiser on the market.

This needs to be ridden. This needs to be experienced. This needs to be loved. waxed. and given a good crank of the throttle.
