YAMAHA XQ125 MAXSTER SCOOTER

This auction is for a 2002 Yamaha XQ 125 scooter.

I have owned it for 5 years.   In that time it has done very little mileage as it has spent most of its time as a second vehicle on the back of a motorhome.   It has the usual bumps. scrapes and general battle scars that you would expect on a bike of this age.  Some are from general useage. some are from the straps that attach it to the motorhome.   Please see photos.  It is MoT'd until May 2015.   It is taxed but I will have to SORN it and return the disc due to new licensing laws.

The bike is very reliable.   The engine runs very sweet. however it does not pull too well.   I have been told this is due to a drive belt that could do with being replaced.   I am not sure as I know very little about scooters.   We have used it abroad to travel to various race meetings from campsites and it has always got us there and back albeit a bit slowly.   The brakes. tyres. suspension and lights are all fine.   It also has a detachable top box.

I would rather prospective buyers come and have a look at it first to ensure it is what they want.   We are situated near j13 A42 and j23 M1.
