yamaha 1974 DT250 DT 250 enduro low mileage with title

You are looking at a 1974 DT250. This bike has only 1000 miles on the odometer. At first I was a little skeptical that the mileage was accurate. After getting a closer look at the wear on items like the tires. egs. prockets and brakes I am confident that the odometer is accurate the tool kit is even there. This bike developed a noisy top end in the mid eighties and was parked with the intention of repairing it at a later date. The repairs were never made. I bought this bike with the intentions of repairing it. I got the bike running to confirm the top end noise and it was still there. I removed the top end and found a broken top ring. The cylinder has been bored and the piston and rings were replaced with genuine yamaha parts so the engine is now in great condition with all of its original paint even on the carburetor. This bike sat in a garage and the years of sitting took there toll on some of the chrome parts. The handle bars have rust and the chrome on the gauges. turn signals and headlight ring isn't the best but it is still presentable. The paint on the fuel tank is original as is the paint on the frame. The fenders. xhaust airbox and other items have been painted. The brakes have been disassembled and all of the pivot points and other moving parts that require it were cleaned and lubed. The brake linings and drums are in great condition. The clutch was stuck as you would expect from a bike that sat for 30 some years. I removed the plates cleaned and inspected  them and reassembled the clutch which now works as it should. This bike runs great and all of the lights and horn work. The turn signals flash faster than they should I don't know if the new battery has low voltage or if the flasher unit is bad. I am listing this as a local pick up but I am willing to help with shipping where I can in terms of bringing it to a local shipping agent but the buyer will need to make all of the arrangements. This bike is not in perfect condition and it has not been restored but it is a survivor that is mechanically sound. I wish I could keep it but that is not an option.    please note that there is a bolt is missing for tank hold down it will be added before pick up
