This very rare old 1974 Yamaha DT250A Enduro legend has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike has got a few bits missing. a few bits damaged/broken. a few bits rusty/corroded & a few bits are very nice indeed. The wheels are straight with very nice clean chrome rims. good hubs & brake plates. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid & tidy. Fuel & oil tanks are solid & squeaky clean inside with just minor marks & scratches in the original paint. Exhaust system is original & solid. Seat base is in very good condition throughout. Shox are damping fine. The engine is cosmetically very clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter ?ˆ“ sounds/feels great & has compression but we haven't run it up. The bike is currently unregistered. The registration process is reasonably uncomplicated.

REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you ??55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
