1987 Yamaha RXS100 2 stroke

This is my wife's bike. and is only up for sale as she now runs a Virago. and a customised version of one of these.

This little bike had a full mechanical rebuild last year. with absolutely no expense spared on it. The following items were all changed:

Front wheel bearings (Left & Right)

Fork seals and fluid

Rear wheel bearings (Left. Right and sprocket bearings)

Sprocket Axle spindle and nut

Rear wheel chain adjusters

Fuel tank flushed and a new tap fitted

New Fuel cap

Full top end rebuild. new piston. rings. gaskets and little end bearing (Cylinder professionally honed to suit piston)

Run in correctly. and well over 800 miles covered since rebuild

New DID chain and sprockets

Main and side stand springs replaced

Mechanically. this little bike needs nothing

Cosmetically. it was going to be stripped this winter. and powdercoated. but other projects mean this is not now going to happen

It is not rough. but would benefit from some cosmetic attention to the frame and swing arm. but nothing is being hidden here

Both tyres are in great condition

It will be sold with a full 12 month MOT

Ideal for a new rider. or for those wanting a little nostalgia - still quick. easily pulling over 70 with me on it !
