Description

I have for sale a very nice period classic bike . This bike runs and rides fantastically and is the smoothest LC I have ever ridden  . The engine has been rebored using Yamaha DT175 pistons and has had the exhaust port raised by 1. 5mm by the one and only Stan Stephens and now has a smooth power delivery right through the rev range without the on/off style of normal LC`s . This modification also makes the engine more reliable and the fuel consumption is drastically reduced . Not only but also . its fitted with a Mechmachex swing arm . modified Micron pipes that sound awesome . a Micron fork brace . a new pair of Avon Road Rider tyres and for some strange reason its got heated grips ! . 11 months tax and test with a mention from the Mot station about a possible warped front disc . I got this bike from a 75yr old guy who had owned it 23yrs and he bought it from his son . I beleive this to be a fantastic blank canvas for somebody or ride it as it is . I would trust this bike any distance . In its lifetime it has had a few alloy parts chromed . fork legs . brake calipers . right hand switch gear . foot rest hangers and front brake lever which are still in fairly good order with some flaking in places to be fair . I would love to keep this bike but Im physically too big for it and I am genuinely sad to let it go . The purists amongst you will see that the front indicators are after market but I do have one original that came with the bike and that the chain guard has been manufactured to fit the Mechmachex swing arm . Any relevant questions please contact me through this medium or call 07969 291333 .

Cash on collection only .

Thanx for looking .

Forgot to mention . the connectors have broken off the themostat on the top of the cyclinder head but this is an easy repair .
