Here for sale a (much reluctant) is my rebuilt DT400MX. I am only selling this bike as I need to thin out my collection a little.

My DT went through a complete nut and bolt restoration 18 months ago using only genuine Yamaha Spares sourced from Moto Ward in Sussex or from the USA.

NOS items include Speedo/Tacho. muffler. Side panels. Mirrors. nbsp;switches. Cables. nbsp;oil pump. headlamp. indicators. wiring loom. rear light assy etc etc

All new nuts and bolts are Genuine Yamaha items

Mechanically the engine has had all new seals. new swinging arm bushes fitted and wheel bearings. New chain & sprockets. nbsp;brake shoes. clutch plates fitted. Wheels have been rebuilt and forks chromed/polished

Bike has been professionally sprayed with all new decals.

New Metzeler Tyres fitted

The bike starts second or third kick and pulls really well through all gears.

Spared included in the sale are:

Spare DT400 1R6 frame. Original wheels and forks.

The bike is MOT'd until June 2015 but has no Road fund licence.

Unfortunately it does not have matching ignition and locks and some paint has flaked off of the rear mudguard (please see photograph)

I have set a sensible reserve price (nothing near the blue DT400 currently listed) This is a UK bike and not a USA import.
